Teenagers meet together in a group called B.A.S.I.C., which is an acronym for Brothers And Sisters in Christ. Those
young people who are in the 7th grade through High School years are invited to attend. These teenagers are either
going through the process of confirmation or have already been confirmed.

BASIC typically meets on Sunday evenings, twice a month. Because various activities are scheduled throughout the
year, the regular meeting dates change periodically. Bible study, games, and snacks are regular events during our
meetings. Some past activities of BASIC have been car washes, camp outings, Cardinal baseball, bowling, over night
lock-ins, Superbowl parties, and both District & National Church Youth Gatherings.

BASIC is managed by a Youth Board, which consists of several Immanuel adult volunteers, a Pastor, and one youth
representative from each BASIC class.

Note:  Junior High Sunday School students at Immanuel Lutheran Church study the New Testament of the Bible which is
covered over a period of two (2) years.  The course book is entitled "History of the New Testament" and published by Concordia Publishing House.
